Floriano "Flo" Arruda

Floriano “Flo” Arruda, 73, of Seekonk, formerly of Dighton, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, after sustaining injuries from a motor vehicle accident involving a drunk driver.  His wife of 38 years, Donna (Trahan) Arruda, and grandson, Jacoby Arruda, who they raised, also tragically passed away as a result of the accident.
He is survived by his children, Lisa Arruda-Graham (husband John), Keith Arruda, Lisa Rebello Napert (husband Brock), Carl Rebello and the late Ryan Arruda.
Grandchildren, Kory Arruda, Robert John (RJ) Graham, Jordan Dion, Makayla Pimentel, Austin Arruda, Hailey Arruda, Keith Arruda Jr and Alexis Arruda, Alexis Pacheco, Aliyah Fonseca and great grandchildren Eden Mae Melo, Paityn Dion-Zahara and Kynslee Pimentel.

Siblings, Marie Arruda Poirier (husband Roy), and Joseph Arruda (his late wife, Pam Arruda) late Altino Arruda nephews and nieces Josh Arruda ,Tiffany Arruda, Dawn Poirier-Rezendes, Jason Poirier and Staycie Arruda and many other family and friends who will miss him every day.
Floriano was born in Feteiras, San Miguel, Portugal and was the son of the late Manuel and Maria Jose (Pavao) Arruda. Flo worked at Duro Finishing for 30 plus years and most recently at Superior Trucking where the team considered him family. He cherished spending time with his grandkids and was an avid New England sports fan. He enjoyed a Sunday ride on his motorcycle, a walk with his lovely wife Donna and was quick to lend a hand without hesitation to anyone who needed it.
His visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 5 at 10:00 AM at St. John of God Church, Brayton Ave., Somerset.

Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery.
