Florence A. (Marciarille) Phenix

Florence a. (Marciarille) Phenix, 88, of Fall River, formerly of Tiverton, wife of the late George E. Phenix, died Monday, March 2, 2015. She worked in the garment industry for over 20 years and was a member of the ILGWU, now UNITE and St. Mary's Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed traveling. She was the mother of George E. Phenix of Tiverton and the late Caroline A. Fish (of Tiverton); the grandmother of Taylor W. Fish of Wakefield, RI and the late Kyle D. Fish (of South Kingstown and Tiverton); the daughter of the late William and Carrie (Gill) Marciarille; the sister of Raymond Marciarille of Swansea, Carrie Vieira of Fall River, Elaine Miller of Tiverton, Rita Rodrigues and Rose Marciarille, both of Fall River and the late William, Charles and Edward Marciarille; and also leaves many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Tiverton at 10:00 a.m. Burial, Newport Memorial Park, Middletown.
