Fernand J. Lizotte

Fernand J. Lizotte, 88, of Swansea, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010. He was the husband of 62 years of the late Annette L. (Delisle) Lizotte and the son of the late Aime and Alice (Rousseau) Lizotte. He leaves 3 sons, Roger and his wife Kathy of Swansea, Paul and his wife Cynthia of Nashua, NH and Richard and his wife Irene of Sandwich, MA: and 5 loving grandchildren, Allison, Jessica, Meghan, Catherine and Christopher Lizotte. A WW II veteran, Sgt. Lizotte served in the Army Quartermaster Division. He was an office manager for Texaco, Inc. and an accountant for Smith/Cochrane Insurance Co., Swansea and St. Michael Parish Credit Union, Swansea. A Marian Medal recipient, he ran the St. Michael Parish weekly bingo for over 20 years. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Monday 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
