Fernand R. Clairmont

Fernand R. "Fern" Clairmont, 91, of Fall River, husband of the late Cecile A. (Ouellette) Clairmont, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018.

A graduate of Msgr. Prevost High School, he was a Navy veteran of WW II and an employee of Swank Inc., Attleboro for 40 years. He was an avid golfer and loved to bowl and dance.

He leaves a daughter, Diane Coriaty and her husband Leonard of Dartmouth; two grandsons, Ryan and Justin Coriaty; a brother, Gilbert Clairmont of Nokomis, FL and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joseph S. and Rose deLima (Marquis) Clairmont and the brother of the late Aline Sirois, Yvette Lapointe and Gerrard, Alban, Maurice and Conrad Clairmont.

His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Anthony of the Desert Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
