Everett P. Correira, Jr.

Everett P. Correira, Jr., 82, of Somerset, longtime companion of Imelda "Mel" Racine, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020.

An employee of Rochester Midland for 39 years, he was also employed by Berkshire Hathaway. He was a member of the National Guard in his younger years. He loved going to the casino, watching sports, the New York Giants, Boston Red Sox and watching ministry on television. He enjoyed music by Air Supply, Elvis and Journey.

He leaves four children, Arlene Thibodeau (husband Emile) of New Bedford, Karen Venancio (husband Bruce) of FL, Deborah Correira of Fall River and Donna Thorpe (husband Kenneth) of Swansea; 11 grandchildren, Shonda Escobar, Chad Correira, Crystal Burke, Craig Venancio, Kenneth Thorpe, Michael Thorpe, Holly Paradise, Roth Correira, Alexis Correira, Breyona Correira, Natasha Paradise, and Tony and Troy and several great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Everett Correira III, the step-father of the late Gail and Kenneth Sparshott and the son of the late Everett and Mary Jane (Sutcliffe) Correira.

Private funeral arrangements entrusted to the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.  Cremation to follow.
