Evelyn R. (Lachance) Thibodeau

Evelyn R. (Lachance) Thibodeau, 77, of Westport, formerly of Old Fall River Rd., Dartmouth, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Crawford Skilled Nursing, Fall River. She was the wife of the late Andre D. Thibodeau. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Adelard and Marie Louise (Robert) Lachance, she lived in Dartmouth and Westport for many years. She was a volunteer and active member of Christ Temple United Pentecostal Church, Tiverton. Survivors include a daughter, Janice A. Foley of Westport; 2 sons, Andre D. Thibodeau, Jr. and Paul Thibodeau, both of Dartmouth; a son-in-law Gary Foley; a daughter-in-law Patricia Thibodeau; 5 grandchildren, Catherine and Gary Foley, Jr., Felicia and Andre Thibodeau, III and Joel Stupalski; 3 great-grandchildren, Jacqueline and Andrea Thibodeau and Austin MacKay; a sister, Lorraine Lepage of Tiverton; a brother, Robert Lachance of Swansea; and many nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Joshua Thibodeau; the great-grandmother of the late Andre D. Thibodeau, IV and the sister of the late Sedonia and Laura Pelletier, Marie Gosselin, Dora Dupere and Emile, Wilfred, Honore, Leo, Adelard, Louis, Benoit and Edward Lachance. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM in Christ Temple United Pentecostal Church, 1198 Fish Rd., Tiverton. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery, Dartmouth. Visitation, Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in Christ Temple United Pentecostal Church. Donations may be made to Christ Temple United Pentecostal Church, 1198 Fish Rd., Tiverton.
