Evelyn (Rapoza) Prevost

June 10, 1927 — November 19, 2010

Evelyn T. (Rapoza) Prevost, 83, of Pershing Ave., Swansea, widow of Deacon Thomas F. Prevost, died Friday, November 19, 2010. A popular entertainer and accomplished vocalist, her credits included several recordings with Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Orchestra and an invitation to appear on "Broadway'. She leaves six children, Diane Prevost-Read of Swansea, Pauline Daunis and her husband Paul and Jocelyn Atwater and her husband James, all of South Dennis, MA, Thomas F. Prevost, Jr. and his wife Janie of Southwick, MA, Joseph M. Prevost and his fiancée Donna Amaral of Fall River and Normand Prevost of Yarmouth Port, MA; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Louise (Parent) Rapoza and the sister of the late Normand Rapoza. Her funeral mass will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea. Visitation and flowers omitted. Entombment private. Donations to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway # 1509, New York, NY 10018 appreciated.
