Evelyn R. (Berard) Cote

Evelyn R. (Berard) Cote, 98, of Old Stevens Rd., Swansea, widow of Roland T. Cote, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013. A member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of St. Louis de France Parish, she enjoyed painting and needlework, was an avid Patriots fan and had worked in the garment industry many years ago. A loving mother, friend and "mém&egravere" to everyone, she leaves 4 children, Roland R. Cote and his wife Yvonne of Swansea, Susan Barnwell and her husband Lawrence of Swansea, Paul D. Cote and his wife Nancy of Fall River and Celeste Lachance and her husband Alan of Swansea; grandchildren, Robert Barnwell (Kimberly), Denis Cote (Ilene), Daniel Cote (Melissa), Jason Barnwell (Meghan), Marc Cote, Alan Leo Lachance (Anne), Justin Lachance (Emily) and Megan Cote (Chad); great-grandchildren, Taylor, Mackenzie and Evan Cote and Jonathan and Jillian Barnwell and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Marc A. Cote, the daughter of the late Joseph and Arzelia (Leboeuf) Berard and the sister of the late Lillian Paquette, Doris Rego and Yvette Thibault. Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Louis de France Church, Swansea at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Evelyn's family is grateful to the Sarah S.
