Eva B. (Saleem) Sampson

Eva B. (Saleem) Sampson, 81, of Short St., Swansea, formerly of Spring St., died at home Wednesday, May 10, 2006. She was the wife of Robert C. Sampson, Sr. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Joseph and Manera (George) Saleem, she lived in Swansea most of her life. She was a member of St. Anthony of the Desert Parish, Fall River and the Navy Mothers of America. Besides her husband of 64 years, survivors include 2 sons, Robert C. Sampson, Jr. and his wife Connie and Kenneth Sampson and his wife Debbie, all of Swansea; 3 daughters, Beverly Ann Anderson and her husband Charles of Palm Bay, Florida, Donna Hipolito and her husband Fred of Swansea and Eva Carreiro of Fall River; 2 sisters, Jenny Hashberger of Palm Bay, Florida and Ezabell Markland of Fall River; 15 grandchildren, Alfred, Kevin, Steven and Melissa Hipolito, Debbi Gingras, Sue Rombola, Charles Anderson, Robert, Eric, Kenny, Justin and Jenny Sampson and John, Chris and Scott Foley; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Sophie Beach. Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Mt. Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
