Eva M. Desrochers, (Levesque) Rn

Eva M. (Levesque) Desrochers, RN, 88, of North Dighton, formerly of Fall River, wife of the late Rene A. Desrochers, entered into rest Wednesday, August 17, 2016. She was a member of St. Anne Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1953.

She enjoyed traveling, reading, needlecrafts and was an avid bridge player and loving grandmother.

She leaves three children, Louise M. Desrochers and her husband John Poirier of North Dighton, George R. Desrochers and his wife Beth of Georgetown and Daniel L. Desrochers of Swansea; grandchildren, Laura Viens and her husband Daniel, Hannah Desrochers and Evan Desrochers; a great-granddaughter, Juliet Viens; three step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Sister Louise Levesque S.J.A of Canada, Joseph "Ben" Levesque and Cecile Chicca, both of Swansea, Joseph Roger Levesque of Fall River, Joseph Roland Levesque of Maryland, and Bernadette Leduc Albernaz of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Marie Louise (Jalbert) Levesque and the sister of the late Sister Laurianne Levesque D.H.S., Sister Jeannette Levesque, D.H.S. and Alexis, Alfred and Robert Levesque.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Assn., PO Box 417005, Boston MA 02241.
