Eva "Mém&egravere" (Michaud) Garant, 98, of Fall River died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Willie Garant.
A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Philadelphe and Emelia (Jean) Michaud.
Mrs. Garant was employed by the former Kerr Thread, Avon Curtain and Howard Curtain manufacturing companies.
She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of Notre Dame Parish and a former member of the Flint Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Germaine "Gerry" Garant of Fall River and Claudette Phillips and her husband Andrew of Somerset;
2 granddaughters, Stacey Rosa and Wendy Sandford and her husband Keith;
2 great-grandsons, Kyle Rosa and Tyler Sandford
and nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Leontine Menard, Irene Rogers and Dolor, Armand, Wilfred, Oscar and Herve Michaud.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 9:00 AM.
Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
