Eugene Kij

Eugene Kij, 78, of Anthony St., Fall River, died Monday, March 6, 2006 at home. He was the husband of the late Lorraine (Mailloux) Kij. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late Jan and Mary (Winarski) Kij. A member of the former Trinidade Club and Al's Place, he was employed by Fall River Floor Surfacing, Romeo Bosse Floor Surfacing, Maurice Bosse Floor Surfacing and the Raytheon Co., Portsmouth, RI. Survivors include a daughter, Jeannine Arruda of Fall River; 2 grandchildren, Paul French, Jr. and Joy Arruda, both of Fall River; 2 great-grandchildren, Brittany Marie French and Paula Jean French; a step-grandson, Edward A. Arruda; 2 brothers, Zygmund "Zeke" Kij of Oregon and Ludwig Kij of Westport, MA and 4 nephews, Robert, Gerald, Paul and Michel Noiseux. He was the brother of the late Lottie Pira, Stella Kij and Joseph Kij. His funeral will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 11:30 . Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
