Ethel L. Delisle (Bouthillier) Mitchell

Ethel L. (Bouthillier) Delisle Mitchell, RN, 98, of Tiverton, wife of the late Bertrand A. Delisle and the late William J. Mitchell, entered into rest Thursday, January 14, 2016. A graduate of St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing, she was employed by Union Hospital and Charlton Memorial Hospital. She leaves two children, Louise Munroe and her husband Walter of Little Compton and Robert B. Delisle and his wife Christine of Tiverton; grandchildren, Timothy Munroe, Jennifer Yates and her husband Andrew, Reverend Eric Delisle and Alison Baker and her husband Sean; five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ethel (Boscomb) Butler and the sister of the late Ada Ford, Ernest Butler and Kenneth Bouthillier. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Little Compton. Visitation, Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
