Esther R. Picard, R.N.

Esther R. (Williamson) Picard, RN, 82, of Fall River, wife of Attorney Raymond V. Picard, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018.

A graduate of the former Mount St. Mary Academy and St. Anne's Hospital School of Nursing, she was employed by the former Union Hospital and several area nursing homes.

Besides her husband of 54 years, she leaves four children,

Paul J. Picard and his wife Jae of the South Shore, MA, Charles R. Picard of Glendale, CA, Julie M. Picard (partner Sterling Hollowhorn) of E. Boston and Edward A. Picard of Wilmington, MA;

a granddaughter, Sophie Picard and nieces and nephews including Marie Ahearn and Jennifer Whiteleather. She was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Rhea B. (Ste. Marie) Williamson and the sister of the late Marguerite Drew.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Good Shepherd Church at 12:00 NOON. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery.

Visitation, Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
