Ernest Larue

Ernest LaRue, 84, of Pokross St., Fall River, husband of Doris E. (Chagnon) LaRue, and father of the late Rodney M. LaRue, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013. A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was employed by Harvey Probber for many years. A Marian Medal recipient, he was Eucharistic Minister at the former Blessed Sacrament Church. Besides his wife of 58 years he leaves his daughter-in-law Mary LaRue and granddaughter Emily LaRue of Millbury, MA; siblings, Lauretta Levasseur, Raymond LaRue and Claire Machado, all of Fall River, Roland LaRue of Portsmouth, RI and Yvette Paradis of Somerset; nieces, nephews and fishing buddies nephew Richard Levasseur and dear friend Raymond Laferriere. He was the son of the late Raymond and Laura (Duval) LaRue. His funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
