Ernest G. Foisy, Jr.

Ernest G. Foisy, 70 of Fall River, husband of Sandra (Faltus) Foisy, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on December 29, 2020.

He joined the U.S. Marine Corps after high school and was proud to have served during the Vietnam Era.

He was married for 47 years to the love of his life, together they enjoyed traveling to Jamaica every February and enjoying all that Martha’s Vineyard, Provincetown and the Rhode Island beaches had to offer during the summer months. Ernest had a love for the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots and spent his free time working on home improvement projects or working on projects in his garage.

He was a 46 year member of Laborers Local 610, where he served as a past Vice President. He was also a proud life member of the Marine Corps League Detachment 1285 L/CPL John J. Vangyzen.

He leaves a son, Neil Foisy of Brooklyn, NY and a sibling, Joann Foisy Antaya of Ft. Myers, FL and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Amarello) Foisy.
