Ernest J. "Tiboy" Dube

Ernest J. "TiBoy" Dube, 94, of Swansea, formerly of Tuttle St., Fall River, husband of Celestine (Laflamme) Dube, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009. He was employed at the Newport Naval Base, owned and operated New Method Laundry, employed by Eagan Laundry, Slade Laundry, and Charlton Memorial Hospital. An avid card player, he was a lifetime member of the Fall River Lodge of Elks and a member of the former Crawford Club. Besides his wife of 72 years, he leaves three sons, Robert D. Dube (wife Ruth) of Bloomington, IN; Normand A. Dube (wife Irene) of Somerset and Roland E. Dube (wife Margie) of Swansea; grandchildren Rob Dube (wife Emily), Michelle Hare (husband Matthew), Christopher Dube (wife Donna), Craig Dube (wife Kerry), and Drew Dube; two great-grandchildren, William and Frances Dube, and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Magloire and Elmire (Roy) Dube and the brother of the late Rosanna Duddy, Lauria Dumont and Annette Lizotte. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Louis de France Church, Buffington St. Swansea. Burial private. Visitation Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
