Ernest L. Cote

Ernest L. Cote, 87, formerly of Fall River and Tiverton, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014. A Marine Corps veteran of WW II and skilled cabinetmaker, he was employed by the Mellon Family at Oyster Harbors, Osterville for many years. The former husband of Rita (Coppinger) Cote, he leaves 3 daughters, Sheila Stringer and her husband Robert and Kathleen Turner, all of Tiverton and Dawn Brown and her husband George of North Easton, MA; grandchildren, Christian LeBlanc (wife Allison) of Westport, Sarah Federico (husband Marc) of Little Compton, Justin Turner of Leesburg, VA, Jared Campbell of Marina del Ray, CA and Caitlin Bratton (husband Christopher) of Dededo, Guam; 5 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents Henri and Adeline (Trottier) Cote and 12 siblings. His funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Tuesday morning prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
