Emile R. Roussel

Emile R. Roussel, 97, of Fall River, formerly of Bardsley St., and Rolling Green Drive, died Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at Catholic Memorial Home. He was the husband of the late Lillian Y. (Philibert) Roussel. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late Adelard and Emma (Michaud) Roussel. A retired union carpenter, he was a lifelong member of Notre Dame Parish. Survivors include a son, Raymond Roussel and his wife Jeanne of Chester, CT; a daughter-in-law, Nina Roussel of Bedford, NH; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Ronald Roussel and the brother of the late Adelard, Leo, Donat, Emma, Yvonne and Rhea Roussel, Sister Blanche Roussel, RJM and Sister Alice Roussel, RJM. His funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 11:00 am. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Monday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:15 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home.
