Elizabeth R. (Smith) Lanoue

Elizabeth R. (Smith) Lanoue, 75, of Swansea, died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at home. She was the devoted wife of Vincent Lanoue for 54 years. Born in Warren, she was the daughter of the late Parker and Angela Smith. Elizabeth enjoyed crafts, sewing, cooking, her dog "Solo", and mostly spending time with her family. She was the loving mother of Diane Eddy and husband Jim of Lee, NH, Donna Matthews and husband Chris of Portsmouth, RI, Paula Harrison and husband Dwight of Colrain, MA, and the late David Lanoue; the loving grandmother of Bethany, Jillian, Drew, Daniel, James and Michael; and the sister of John, Eugene, William and Dale Smith. Following cremation, a memorial mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in St. Dominic Church, Swansea. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston MA 02115.
