Elizabeith J. Ramos

Elizabeth J. "Betty" (Concaison) Ramos, 92, of Highland Ave., Fall River, formerly of Valentine St., died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late Michael C. Ramos. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John Concaison and Julia (Soares) Concaison Rosario. A member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, now UNITE, she was employed by the former Stella Ann Frocks. She enjoyed ceramics. Survivors include 2 daughters, Gloria Mitchell and her husband Scott of Fall River and Anna Gonsalves and her husband Edward of Norton; 2 sons, John Ramos and his wife Geraldine of Somerset and Armande M. Ramos and his wife Sue of Fall River; 2 sisters, Mary Kilby and Amelia "Millie" Soares, both of Fall River; 2 brothers, Philip Concaison of Fall River and Michael Concaison of New Bedford; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anna Cabrera and Antone Concaison. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
