Eliza (Pimental) Arruda

Eliza (Pimental) Arruda, 89, of Mulberry St., Fall River, widow of Antone C. "Kelly" "Tony" Arruda, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010. She was employed by Samesta Manufacturing. She leaves two daughters, Paula Travers and her husband David of Fall River and Donna Ferreira and her husband Gerald of Tiverton; five grandchildren, Joshua, Michael and Nakeesha Arruda, Adam Travers and his wife Sheri and Keith Travers and his wife Holly; four great-grandchildren, Chayla, Brody, Aiden and Ethan Travers; and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Michael Arruda; the daughter of the late Manuel and Emily (Moniz) Pimental; and the sister of the late Agnes, Joseph, Eugene and Emilinda Pimental, Theresa Fragoza, Mary Angel Thomas, Mary C. Mello and Rose Cordeiro. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Santo Christo Church at 9:45 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
