Eleanor "Nora" (Bensen) Valois

Eleanor "Nora" (Bensen) Valois, 78, of Globe St., Fall River, wife of Roland E. Valois, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012, A graduate of Westport High School, Class of 1951, she was employed by Fall River Paper Supply and Bristol Knitting Mills. Besides her husband of 56 years, she leaves 7 children, Teresa Valois, Alan Valois (Donna), Ronald Valois (Virginia Tabicas), Philip Valois (Sherrie), Jane Valois, and Roland L. Valois (Irene), all of Fall River, and Charles Valois of New Gloucester, ME; grandchildren, Alan, Ryan, Jordan, Nolan, Ashley, Allyson, and Madison Valois, Savannah-Nicole Kochan and Kristina Gregory; a sister, Mary Louise Whittaker of Falmouth; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Broderick) Bensen; the stepdaughter of the late Mildred Bensen; the sister of the late Paul Bensen; and the stepsister of the late Betty Valois and Dorothy Lafleur. Her funeral service will be held Friday morning at 9:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
