Elaine "Nan" (Soares) Guay

Elaine "Nan" (Soares) Guay, 69, of Fall River, formerly of Somerset, wife of the late Robert L. Guay and daughter of Linda Viera of Fall River and the late Frank Viera, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017.

She taught Kindergarten at the former St. Anne School, coached CYO Basketball and was active in the community. A graduate of Somerset High School, she was very athletic and was inducted into the Somerset High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

She leaves a son, Keith Guay and his beloved companion Allison Pina; granddaughters, Kayla and Alexis Guay and their mother, Pam Titone and brothers, Michael Viera and his wife Donna, Steve Viera and his wife Sharon, Frank Viera and his wife Pat and brother David Soares.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, April 8 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at McGovern's Restaurant. Relatives & friends invited. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Auclair Funeral Home.
