Elaine (Thomas) Gillette

Elaine (Thomas) Gillette, 90, formerly of South Main St. Fall River, passed into eternal rest Thursday, November 3, 2022.  She was the wife of the late James Gillette.

A member of ILGWU and Unite, she was employed by Bristol Knitting Mills. She also worked as a CNA for McGinnis Health Aid Services.

Survivors include four children, Beverly Gillette and her companion Joseph Riley of Sandwich, MA, Michael Gillette,  and Deborah Gillette and her partner Lori Borges, all of Fall River and Mary T. Gauvin and her husband Mark of Tiverton; two grandchildren, Kelsey Gauvin (husband Joshua) and Caleb Gauvin; three great-grandchildren, Brantlee, Emea and Nash Jusseaume; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Edward Thomas and the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Arruda) Thomas.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 8, from 9:00 A.M to 10:15 A.M. at the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a Funeral Mass at Espirito Santo Church, Alden St., at 11:00 A.M.  Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
