Eileen P. (Burns) Paul

Eileen P. Paul, 88 years young, of Fall River, formerly of Tiverton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13,2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after an extended stay at Somerset Ridge, with her daughter and son at her side. She was the wife of 57 years to the late Julien F. Paul, who passed away on September 20, 2016. Eileen was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Walter J. Burns, Sr. and Mary A. (McFadden) Burns.

She is survived by her children Mary P. Kinnane (husband John) and her son Thomas, both of Fall River. She was the sister of the late Walter J. Burns, Jr. She also leaves 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Margaret M. Paul, a niece, a nephew, and a great-grandnephew.

She was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and Thibodeau Business School. She worked for New England Telephone & Telegraph Company. After marriage, she became a dedicated, loving housewife and mother.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral mass Thursday at 10:00 AM at Holy Name Church.

Visitation and flowers omitted. Donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road S.W., Lilburn GA 30047. Burial will be private. funeral arrangements entrusted to Auclair Funeral Home.
