Eileen Correira

Eileen Correira, 83, of Fall River, wife of the late John Correira passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Rosella Almeida.

Prior to her passing, Eileen enjoyed spending time with her friends at Atlantic Restaurant as well as the Riptide restaurant. Eileen was a lifetime member of St Anne's Fraternity and had many fond memories of all the friends that she met at the Frat and avid watcher of all things Hallmark, Madea and Lifetime movies.  She would often leave the party early to go enjoy her TV programs. She adored Clint Eastwood and would always mention "her Clint" to everyone.  Eileen was the former manager of the Battleship Massachusetts store where she met John Kennedy Jr.

Eileen's greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. Eileen leaves behind her three children Sandra Ettress and her husband Kenneth, Michael Correira and his wife Linda, and Robin Desrosiers and her husband Kevin. She also leaves two grandchildren, Amanda and Matthew Alves, two great-grandchildren Sophie Rose Alves and Kaine Michael Thomas She was "GiGi" to her fur babies George,Maya and Zoey. She also was the sister of Claude Almeida (wife Barbara Almeida) and the late Richard Almeida (wife Bette Almeida) and the aunt of Lori Almeida.

Be courageous and brave and in our hearts, she will always stay forever.

Her visitation will be held Monday, September 16th from 5:00 to 8:00 at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 17th at 10:00 in the funeral home with burial to follow at Notre Dame cemetery.
