Edwin "Eddy" Pavao

Edwin "Eddy" Pavao, 50, of Fall River died Monday, January 16, 2012. He was the husband of 28 years of husband of Norma (Lavoie) Pavao; the father of Kevin Pavao (wife Sandra) of Millford, MA, and Christopher Pavao of Fall River; the son of Jose R. and Maria (Lopes) Pavao of Fall River; the brother of Henry L. Pavao (wife Clo) of Fall River, and the late Raimundo Pavao; the son-in-law of Alphonse Lavoie (wife Gerda) of Taunton, and Geraldine (Arruda) Coppinger (husband late Timothy) of Fall River; and the brother-in-law of Paulette Chaves (husband Joseph) of Swansea, Roger Lavoie (wife Sandra) of Westport, and Normand Lavoie of Fall River; and is also survived by nieces and nephews. Born in Sao Vicente, St. Michael, Azores, he was a machinist, employed by Thurston Manufacturing, Smithfield, RI. An avid sports fan and collector of sports memorabilia, he coached in the Federal Little League, PAL Hockey, and Diman Summer Hockey League. His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 9:00 AM. Cremation to follow.
