Edward A. Vadeboncoeur, 95, of Hyannis, formerly of Fall River, husband of the late Amelia J. (Kocor) Vadeboncoeur, died Thursday, August 13, 2015. Born September 9, 1919, he was a Navy veteran of WW II and amateur artist and owned and operated the former Troy Auto Body for many years. He leaves a son, Laurence Vadeboncoeur of Hyannis; grandchildren, Rhen Vadeboncoeur and Michelle Vadeboncoeur and her husband Marc Launoy of Brewster; great-grandchildren, Oliver and Charlotte; siblings, Mary Walker of Virginia, Lorraine Galego of Somerset and Wilfred Vadeboncoeur of Fall River; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Alfred and Philomena (Dupras) Vadeboncoeur and the brother of the late Irene Isabel, Rita Correiro and Henry and Arthur Vadeboncoeur. Visitation, at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
