Edward Walter King

Edward W. King, 76, of Fall River, formerly of New Bedford and Westport, passed into eternal rest June 2, 2023.

He was the husband of Denise M. (Brightman) King.

A physics professor, Edward taught at University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He also worked for Fermilab, Illinois and with Texas Instruments on developing coding for electronics for students. His hobbies included nature and astronomy.

Besides his wife of 16 years, he leaves a step-daughter Heather Robidoux; three siblings, Barry T. King, Sharon Rayes and Linda King; two brothers-in-law, Charles (wife Joyce) Brightman, Paul (wife Betty Lou) Brightman; a niece, Kathy Normore; a nephew, Dennis Brightman (fiancée Stacy St.Laurent).

Edward was the son of the late Walter King and Adelaide (Costa) King, the former husband of Mary King and former companion of Randi and great friend of Wendy.
