Edward T. "Doc" Howard, Jr.

Edward T. "Doc" Howard, Jr., 72, of Fall River, husband of Paulette (Bernier) Howard, died Saturday, June 21, 2014. A member of BMC Durfee High School Class of 1959, he was a USPS Letter Carrier for 28 years and an avid fan of the New England sports teams. Besides his wife of 47 years, he leaves 3 sons, Michael E. Howard and Jeffrey Howard, both of Fall River and Craig Howard and his wife Cathy of Swansea; grandchildren, Brittany, Kylie, Chase and Jenna Howard; a great-granddaughter, Hadley; siblings, John Howard and his wife Nancy of Norfolk, MA, Jennifer Jordan of Georgia and Nancy Listenfelt of Somerset and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Dorsey) Howard and the "son" of the late Mildred (St.Pierre) Howard. Visitation at the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a funeral service at 7:00 PM. Cremation to follow. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
