Edward H. Demers

Edward H. Demers, 77, of Walnut St., Fall River, husband of Blanche "Pat" (Senay) Demers, died Saturday, September 22, 2007. An Army veteran of the Korean War and automobile salesman, he operated Edward Motors, Pleasant St., and was employed by Garten Ford and Empire Chevrolet. He loved and cared for animals. Besides his wife of 54 years, he leaves, sons, Robert E. and Frederick R. Demers, both of Fall River; a daughter, Victoria Pacheco and her husband Joseph of Westport, MA; grandchildren, Joseph and Heather Pacheco and Jason and Jennifer Demers; a sister, Rita Lavoie and her husband Edward of Fall River; a brother-in-law, Frederick Senay of Fall River; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Mathilda (Dupre) Demers; grandchildren, Kyle F. and Lauren Demers; a brother, Thomas Demers and his son Frederick's companion Jacqueline Soto. A funeral service will be held Monday evening at 7:30 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Visitation, Monday prior to the service from 4:00 to 7:30 PM.
