VISITATION SUNDAY 4:00 TO 8:00 PM Edward R. "Eddy" Casey, 70, of Assonet St., Fall River, died Friday, January 7, 2011. A member of the Sandy Beach Association, he was a strong advocate for the Muscular Dystrophy Assn. and the Bayside Little League, and assistant organizer of the Fall River Soup Kitchen. He was employed by Wuersch Time Inc., the former Nira Warehouse and McGovern's Family Restaurant. He leaves 2 children, Don R. Casey and his wife Jennifer of Tiverton and Diane Rocha and her husband Frank of Fall River; 3 grandchildren, Cory and Courtney Vieira and Ethan Casey; 2 great-grandchildren, Parker Sardinha and Cory Vieira, Jr.; siblings, Arthur Casey of CT, Norman Casey and City Councilor Patricia Casey, both of Fall River, and Roland Casey of Barrington, RI; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Abel and Marion (Plante) Casey; the former husband of the late Mary Ann (Green) Casey; and the brother of the late Richard and Robert Casey. His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. VISITATION, SUNDAY 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
