Edward Cabral

Edward "Eddie" Cabral, 88, of 170 William St. Fall River, formerly of Wade St., died Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Southpoine Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, Fall River. He was the companion of the late Jenny Souza. Born in Fall River on April 20, 1918, the son of the late Manuel and Maria da Gloria (Silva) Cabral, he lived in Fall River, Florida and California for several years. He was employed by American Dryer, Fall River. He worked at Grand Lagoon Marina, Panama City, Florida and at the Hamilton Air Force Base in California. Mr. Cabral was an Army veteran of World War Two, earning the rank of Sergeant, where he also played in a military band as a solo trombonist with the nickname "Cisco". Survivors include a sister, Mary J. Camara of San Rafael, California, And nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Agnus Brillante. A funeral service will be held Monday at 12:30 PM in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, with burial in Mass. National Cemetery. Calling hours omitted.
