Edward "Eddy" Brault, 81, of Wilbur Ave., Somerset, formerly of Last St., Fall River, died Monday, January 16, 2006 at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Desmarais) Brault, he lived in Fall River for over 75 years. He was employed by the Bourne Mill, Fall River many years ago and then was a cable specialist at Raytheon Corp., Portsmouth RI for 23 years, retiring in 1987. He was president of the Townsend Hill Men's Club for 25 years and a member of the Franco-American Civic League and the Sacred Heart League of the former Blessed Sacrament Parish. He organized hundreds of fund raising dinner-dance parties and trips for Blessed Sacrament Parish and other charities. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Claire Boutin, Violet Clement and Alma, Irene, Roland, Sister Laura, Sister Valerie, Ernest, Bertha, Henri, Armand, Wilfred and George Brault. His funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home.
