Edward R. Bouffard

Edward R. Bouffard, 81, husband of 61 years of Claire (Gallant) Bouffard and son of the late Edward and Helen (Gamelin) Bouffard, of Gibbs St., Fall River, died Saturday, June 23, 2007. A Navy veteran of WW II, he was a chemist for the Fall River Water Dept., a member of B.P.O. Elks, former manager of Somerset Softball League and enjoyed playing golf and horseshoes. He was the father of Paul E. Bouffard of Fall River, Janice C. Peixoto (husband Gil) of Westport, Joyce Coute (husband Michael) of Westport and Corrine Brouillard (husband Arthur) of Fall River; grandfather of Michelle Ferzan, Melanie Souza, Michael Brouillard, Brian Peixoto, Brenda Aguiar and Joshua Peixoto and also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Visitation, Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow.
