Edward F. Bird

Edward F. "Eddy" Bird, 62, of Jefferson St., Fall River, the loving and devoted husband of Gisele (Desbiens) Bird, died Monday, April 28, 2008, following a long and courageous battle with illness. A roofer, he was the son of the late Edward and Lena (Cabral) Bird. He will be sadly missed. He was the loving father of Melissa Bird of Dighton and Michelle Bird of Fall River; the loving grandfather of Dominic Polselli and Cote E. Bird; the loving brother of Geraldine Cabral (husband Ronald) of Fall River, Linda Wahl (husband Joseph) of Westport and the late Lawrence Bird (wife Melanie). He also leaves nieces and nephews and was a faithful friend to many. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation, Thursday 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday morning prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
