Edward T. Betty, Jr.

Edward T. Betty, Jr., 66, of Ridge St., Fall River, son of the late Edward and Margaret (Kirkman) Betty, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a graduate of St. Francis College, Maine now University of New England. He was employed by the City of Fall River during the administration of Mayor John Mitchell and the Acushnet Company in the manufacture of Titleist golf balls. He leaves a sister, Margaret Anne Betty and his longtime friend Nancy Cueter and her daughter Nicole Cueter, all of Fall River; his goddaughter, Caroline Robinson of Quincy and many cousins. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Mary Cathedral at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
