Eduardo J. Costa

Eduardo J. Costa, 77, of Tiverton, husband of 50 years of Maria C. (Amaral) Costa, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

He served in the Portuguese Army, worked in the boating industry for Tillitson Pearson's TPI Composites for many years and enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He was the father of Edwarda Margaret Fournier of Fall River, Alvaro Eduardo Costa of Tiverton, Mario H. Costa (wife Susan) of Warren, RI, Jeffrey Costa (wife Flo) of Assonet, Kimberly Brant (husband Travis) of Fort Worth, Texas and the late Almerinda "Connie" Costa Mello; the grandfather of Stephanie and Tabitha Harris, Shawna and Sara Fournier, Felicity, Charity, Hannah and Seth Mello, Mason and Preston Brant, Tylar and Logenn Costa and also leaves seven great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of Maria Brilhante, Angie Frias and Helen Furtado, all of Fall River and the late Antonio Costa and Leonel Crancha. Born in Ponta Garça, Sé�o Miguel, Açores, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Pacheco) Costa.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Ghost Church, Tiverton, at 11:30 AM. Interment, Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton.

Visitation, Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 North Main St., Providence RI 02904.
