Edouard F. "Eddie" Cote

Edouard F. "Eddie" Cote, 93, of Milliken Blvd., Fall River, a resident of Somerset most of his life, husband of the late Germaine R. (Cote) Cote, died Thursday, January 8, 2009. A graduate of Somerset High School, he, at age 78, he earned a Liberal Arts Associate's Degree from Bristol Community College in 1993. A member of the International Association of Machinists, he was employed by Brown & Sharpe Mfg. and Leesona Corp., RI. A Marian Medal recipient, he was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Louis de France Parish. He leaves 2 sons, Edward R. Cote and his wife Carol of Somerset and Maurice P. Cote and his wife Norma of Swansea; grandchildren, Kendra Lychwala, Cristen Sirois, Kerri Plaud, M. Peter Cote and Nicole Kenyon; great-grandchildren, Abigail Sirois and M. Alex Cote; a brother, Alphonse Cote of Middleboro, MA and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Pierre and Elmire (Dufour) Cote and the brother of the late Aurore St.Laurent, Juliette Chagnon and Arthur, Gerard, Aime and Edmond Cote. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Louis de France Church, Swansea, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
