Edmond "Pete" Peladeau

Edmond "Pete" Peladeau, 87, of Westport, formerly of Fall River and Somerset, died Wednesday, Sep. 7, 2011. He was the husband of the late Jeannette (McNally) Peladeau. He was employed by Firestone Rubber and Eastern Airlines. An army veteran of WWII, he was a member of Montaup Country Club. Survivors include a daughter, Karen Abelha and her husband Jose of Westport; a son, Peter Peladeau of Assonet; 2 grandchildren, Paige and Dylan Abelha; and 2 sisters, Jeannette Gagnon and Mary Rose Pouliot, both of Fall River. He was the father of the late Lisa Peladeau, the son of the late Alphonse and Roseanne (Forcier) Peladeau and the brother of the late Rene Peladeau. His funeral will be held Monday at 9:15 A.M. from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St. Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10 A.M. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 3 to 7 P.M. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
