Edmond Duclos

February 8, 1935 — January 23, 2021

Edmond Duclos, 85, of Fall River, husband of the late Diane Jeannine (Michaud) Duclos, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021.

He was an automatic light spinner at Aluminum Processing/Lightolier for over 40 years. A US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, he was a proud Oldsmobile owner and long-time member of the Oldsmobile Club of America. He loved attending car shows.  He enjoyed spending time with the guys down at Peckham St. Garage. He loved to fix things in his basement workshop and clean his cars in his garage. He was a regular at Holy Trinity parish. He enjoyed frequenting his favorite local restaurant for breakfast, Kathy’s Place. He is survived by his dog Hope, his little “Tutu”, a Lhasa Apso, whom he enjoyed taking for walks and stopping to chat with his beloved neighbors.

He is survived by three children, twins, Denise Monast (husband Carl) and Daniel Edmond Duclos, and Edmond Fratus (wife Elfie) of UT; three granddaughters, Tara Marie Duclos (companion Joseph Sebastiao), Abigale Lynn Duclos and Meagan Lynn Duclos; a great-granddaughter, Lilly Jane Duclos; siblings, Lorraine Duclos, Amelio Duclos (wife Claudette) all of Fall River and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Alfred Duclos, Jr., Henry Duclos and Florence Montgomery and the son of the late Alfred Henry and Mary (Oliveira) Duclos.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, February 13th at Holy Trinity Church at 9AM.
