Edmond P. "Ed" Bernier

Edmond P. "Ed" Bernier, 70, of Berkley, formerly of Fall River, husband of Jo Ann (Santos) Bernier, died Saturday, February 15, 2014. A master craftsman, he worked in all aspects of the flooring industry and also for Home Depot, Taunton and Bridgewater. He was an Army Corps of Engineers Reservist and former member of the American Legion, Berkley. Besides his wife of 48 years, he leaves 4 children, Scott Bernier (Robyn) of Swansea, Stacey Bernier and Edmond Bernier (Priscilla), all of Fall River and Heidi Archila (Helmuth) of Brockton; 10 grandchildren, Ryan King (Kailyn), Kayleigh King, Paige, Cameron and Cody Bernier, Adam Torres, Brittny Tremblay, Chari Loveridge (Matt), Emma Archila and Angel Pacheco; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan Burda of Fall River and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Armand and Theresa (Damboise) Bernier and the brother of the late Ronald Bernier. His funeral service will be held Monday at 12:00 noon at the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Fox Cemetery, Berkley. Visitation, Monday morning prior to the service from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
