Edith (Ricci) Quintin

June 12, 1922 — January 11, 2012

Edith (Ricci) Quintin, 89, of Hartwell St., Fall River, formerly of Peckham St., widow of Raymond Quintin, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012. A longstanding and highly regarded member of the Vittorio Veneto Lodge Fall River Sons of Italy, she chaired the Miss Columbus Committee and was a member of the Columbus Day Committee. She was employed by Anderson Little and Bradley Scott Manufacturing, and was a Fall River School Dept. Lunch Lady at the Small School. She was past-president of the Fall River Emblem Club, and a member of the Council on Aging. She was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Rosa (Lombardi) Ricci; the sister of the late Marion Viveiros (husband late Arthur), John Ricci and Joseph Ricci; the aunt of Robert Beauregard of Fall River, Joanne Golden (husband late Armand) of Springfield and Nancy Pereira (husband Miguel), of Fall River; the great-aunt of Paul Leger, Jocelyn Rodrigues, Armand and Steven Golden and the late Richard Leger; and the great-great aunt of Crystal, Richard and Mandi Charron, and Stacy, Paul, Richard, Justin, Star, and Victoria Leger. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Rosary Church at 9:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Monday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
