Edith V. Broadbent

Edith V. (Miozza) Broadbent, 77, of 657 Middle St., Fall River, formerly of High St., died Monday, May 8, 2006 at Southpointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. She was the widow of William Broadbent. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helena (Culligan) Miozza. She was employed in the garment industry by Tic Toc Frock for 30 years and was a member of the ILGWU. She enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards and bowling. She leaves 2 sisters, Helena Miozza and Eleanor Rostocka, both of Fall River, 2 brothers, Walter Miozza of Melbourne, Florida and Paul Miozza of Louisville, Kentucky, and nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was the sister of the late Betty Servita, Marie Waldron, Ralph Miozza, Everett Miozza and Frank Miozza. Her funeral will be held Friday at 10:30 from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 11 AM. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation prior to funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
