Duarte M. Aguiar

Duarte M. Aguiar, 55, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 22, 2021.

He was an employee of Korber Hats for 25+ years. Duarte was funny and always telling jokes, he always had a positive attitude and would help those in need. He loved fishing at Elephant Rock and camping on the beach with his nephews and children.

He leaves two children, Andrew Aguiar (fiancée Kaelie) of Fall River and Desiree Magner (husband Nicholas) of Whitinsville; two grandchildren, Sofia Aguiar and Shane Fernandes Jr.; five siblings, John Aguiar, Joe Aguiar, MaryLou Correira, Ana Aguiar and Luis Aguiar and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Miguel and Maria (Rego) Aguiar.

A visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., with a funeral service at 2:30 PM. Cremation to follow. Face coverings and social distancing required.
