Dr. Roland E. Chabot

Roland E. Chabot, DDS, 95, of Fall River, formerly of Somerset, husband of the late Theresa A. (Dumais) Chabot, died Monday, February 23, 2015. Dr. Chabots dental practice was located at the corner of North Main St. and President Ave., Fall River for many years. A Navy veteran of WW II, he was a graduate of Msgr. Prevost High School, Assumption College and Loyola University School of Dentistry. Also an Air Force Captain, Dr. Chabot served in the US Air Force Dental Corps at Presque Isle, Maine. He was a member of the Msgr. Prevost High School Alumni Assn., Knight of Columbus, Tiverton, Over the Hill Gang, Franco American Civic League, Association Francophone, American Dental Assn., Massachusetts Dental Society and Bristol County Dental Society. He leaves three daughters, Jeanne Rose Chabot, D.C. of Montevallo, AL, Diane Nanni and her husband Louis of Little Compton, RI and Denise L. Benoit and her husband Mark of Berkley, MA; grandchildren, Alexander Nanni, Michael Nanni, Laura Pleasants and her husband Gabriel, Ellen Vargas and her husband Roberto and Dylan Benoit; a great-grandson, Leo Pleasants and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Aime and Laura (Martel) Chabot and the brother of the late L. Armand Chabot and Juliette Roberson. His funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Anne Church at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. LARGE PARKING AREA BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
