Dorothy (Delisle) Marois

Marois, Dorothy T. (Delisle), aged 93, passed peacefully
surrounded by her loving family on May 3, 2021.

Born and raised in Fall River, she was the daughter of Alfreda (Cote)
and Edward Delisle and sister to the late Evelyn Delisle.

A graduate of B.M.C.Durfee High School Class of 1946 and former spouse of the late Rene J. Marois, Jr. with whom she had five children: Michelle Moniz, Andre J. Marois(Lucia Rodrigues), Stephen R. Marois, Paula Mendoza (the late Jerome), and Danielle Boule (Raymond M.); grandchildren: Karen Bartsch, Kyle Marois, Justin Mendoza, and Hayden Boule and great-grandchildren:Jayelyn Latinville and Isabella Beverly Mendoza. She also was adopted Memere to Marko, Austin,Tyler, Skyla and Aubrey. Dorothy worked at several downtown iconic shops; Kresge’s, Cherry & Webb and McQuirr’s until her final occupation as a keypunch operator at Aetna Life & Casualty, from where she retired after 25 years.
She loved her children more than life, and her greatest joy was found in spending time with her extended family, and watching her beloved Tom Brady and the Patriots.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10 AM at Holy Name Church, Hanover St. Fall River.
