Dorothy C. (Drewniak) Labossiere

Dorothy Carolyn (Drewniak) Labossiere, 90, of Tiverton, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Grand Islander Nursing Home in Middletown, RI. She was born and raised in Fall River and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Gardula) Drewniak. Dorothy was the sister of Joan (Drewniak) Pacheco, Robert Drewniak and Marilyn (Drewniak) Aguiar.

She was the loving wife of 58 years of the late Albert Clark Labossiere. She is survived by daughter Cheryl A. Hulin and her husband Martin of Woburn, three sons, Michael A. Labossiere and his wife Sarah of Dartmouth, Richard C. Labossiere and his wife Cynthia of Freetown, Robert S. Labossiere and his wife Tina of College Station, TX and ten grandchildren Amanda and husband Andrew, Grace and husband Joby, Caroline, Julianne, Drew, Sam, Alex, Joe, Will and Jack; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a B.M.C. Durfee High School graduate, Class of 1950. Albert and Dorothy raised their family in Fall River and moved to Tiverton, RI before their retirement. Dorothy and Albert loved to travel and spend time with their family. Dorothy especially enjoyed camping and fishing, trips to the Caribbean and Louisiana and sunsets at Stafford Pond.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral to be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 8:00 AM from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd Church, 1598 So. Main St., at 9:00 AM. Calling hours are Friday 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery.
