Dorothy (Moniz) King, 90, formerly of Forest St., Fall River, widow of John A. King, died Saturday, February 11, 2012. A licensed practical nurse, she was employed by Charlton Memorial Hospital for 34 years. A CB Operator, she enjoyed the beach and Foxwoods Casino, and ice skating many years ago, and was a member of the Red Hat Society, and the Third Order of St. Dominic. She and her late husband were well known callers of the Lou Pereira Radio Show. She leaves a sister Leonora "Lee" Faria and her husband Louis of Fall River; nephews Stephen J. Campos (Jeannette) of Somerset, William P. Campos (Sandra) of No. Dighton, and Paul Faria (Rachel DeBrum) of Rehoboth; grandnieces and nephews; and great-grandnieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Agnes Campos (husband late Joseph); and the daughter of the late Anthony and Evangelina (Amaral) Moniz. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Santo Christo Church, at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Monday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
